NEW IN FROM CHLOÈ.
I will show you what is in the dust bag very soon. Something from Chloé but you can actually get a hint from Avec Mari. Great minds think alike, heh.
I ordered the bag to Finland because it was cheaper that way and luckily my parents were able to bring it over as we are spending the weekend together in London. Obviously I could not wait for a few more days but I guess the bag deserves its first outings in London, no?
Though I must say - getting something new from Chloé never gets old.
LUNCH AT CHILTERN FIREHOUSE.
Yesterday I had lunch at Chiltern Firehouse with my parents. That spot is definitely top-notch for people watching but in all honesty you should go there for a few drinks and to enjoy the vibe but maybe eat somewhere else, though the place is cool and I like the area a lot.
I will post more photos and few tips from London and Oxford in a few days time but for now I am going to enjoy life.
P.S. You can follow me on snapchat (hannakovanen) for more regular updates.
THE PERFECT SUMMER CLOSET.
These are basic pieces which would help to avoid wardrobe crisis in the midst of summer. One can never go wrong with a classic blazer and denim cut-offs.
I would not mind a new pair of statement heels either - the 'Wild Thing' heels from Aquazzura are so on point.
WEARING VELVET & LACE.
I am just quickly checking in to post these outfit shots from the other day because I will head off to London in the morning and I need to move out as we speak. This day has been super busy running errands.
Talk to you later.

WEARING CLASSIC DENIM.
This is my look from the other day when the weather was showing off. I bought the black blouse from Zara in the fall but I think it actually works well with some denim.
Nevertheless, it was 9°c degrees in our lounge when I woke up this morning and I just thought it is time to leave and enjoy the summer somewhere else.
Cannot wait to wear my selection of summer dresses.

MUSSELS AT THE OUTSIDER.
This one of favourite spots for dinner or a (fancy) lunch in Edinburgh. Apart from the food being delicious, I like the variety of people going there as it is not just another cool spot for students.
For me it is so important to occasionally escape from the 'university' bubble to get inspired. The mussel dish is my favourite!

VEGGIE BURGER & SWEET POTATO FRIES AT UNDER THE STAIRS.
This is definitely a restaurant I keep on going back to, usually with a punch of friends. The atmosphere is very chilled and the restaurant is located in a hidden spot near the Grassmarket. The menu changes quite often keeping it exciting and the price point is very reasonable.

In addition to these places, I have to recommend Hula which is a juice bar in the Grassmarket - the best juices and salads in my opinion.
Balenciaga Pre-Fall 2016.
Apparently the collection was designed before Demna Gvasalia took charge of the creative direction at Balenciaga but the looks have got the new (Vetements sort of) vibe would you agree. And in a good way.
I love the shearling coats (must-have for fall), checked patterns and especially the look with the black blazer and gold earrings. I also need a massive black hoodie which I could wear with bold jewellery in the fall.
