Baluard – Barcelona

Ystäväni vei meidät tänne upean raikkaaseen kahvilaan eräänä sunnuntaina. Baluard leipomo on itse asiassa ensimmäinen aamupalapaikka, jossa kävin tänne muutettuani. Rakastuin tietenkin heti paikan freesiin lookkiin sekä katettuun terassiin, joka on täynnä vihreitä kasveja. Leipomo/kahvila on hotellin yhteydessä ja viikonloppuisin voi nauttia runsaasta brunssista – tietysti vastaleivottujen leipien ja croissanttien kera. Tarjolla on myös terveellisiä vastapuristettuja mehuja, salaatteja lounaalla sekä erilaisia suolaisia ja makeita leivoksia. Tästä paikasta tuli nopeasti oma suosikkini – niin kahvin kuin töiden merkeissä. Tunnelma on niin rauhallinen ja mukava, että vapaapäivinä tänne tulee suunnattua usein myös läppärin kanssa. Täydellinen paikka etätoimistolle, kahville ystävän kanssa sekä lounaalle ja aamiaselle! :-)

// My friends took me to this amazingly fresh cafe one Sunday. Baluard bakery is actually the first breakfast place I visited here in Barcelona. And of course I fell in love with the fresh look and the terrace with so many green plants. The bakery/cafe is actually part of the hotel and during weekend you can enjoy their big brunch with some freshly baked bread and croissants. They offer also a variety of healthy freshly squeezed juices, salads for lunch, different salty and sweet pastries. This place became fast one of my favorites and I come here quite often for a coffee with friends or just to work on my laptop. The environment is so calm and nice that here I seem to concentrate really well. A perfect place for a remote office, coffee with friends, lunch or breakfast! :-)
