Päivin ajatuksia DD:n Suomen keikasta 2022
Hei Duran-fanit!
Tässä myös minun ajatuksiani eilisestä keikka-uutisesta! Oltiin tosiaan Maijun kanssa sunnuntai-iltana pohdittu, mahtaako Duraneiden keikkajulkistus tulla Suomeen saavuttaa meidät alkuviikosta ja näin sitten kävi heti seuraavana päivänä eli eilen 🤩 Itsellänikin oli pitkään ollut sellainen olo, että Suomen keikka voisi hyvinkin olla mahdollinen, eniten epäillystä nosti Ilta-Sanomien JT -haastattelu, jonka lehti tajusi lopulta tehdä. Se oli yllättävää Duranien näkyvyys suomalaisessa mediassa kun on viime vuosikymmenet ollut vähän niin ja näin.
Vaikka olenkin jo kerran nähnyt Duranit livenä Suomen ulkopuolella, onhan tämä lapsuuden suuren haaveen toteutuminen, jos bändi vihdoin Suomeen rantautuu. Hyvä yritys oli jo 10 vuotta sitten, toivotaan, että konsertti saadaan nyt oikeasti pidettyä pitkittyneestä pandemiasta huolimatta. Viime vierailusta on jo 40 vuotta ja minä täytän vasta 35 eli en siinä mielessä edes laske, että bändi olisi Suomessa käynyt 😀
Odotan keikalta eniten tietysti sitä, että se toteutuu, mutta toisekseen monipuilista settilistaa! Kunpa kuulisin vihdoin livenä Union of the Snaken ja uusista Fallingin ❤️
Ihanaa joulun odotusta kaikille ja onnea lippujahtiin ma 20.12! Siittä saimme kaikki parhaan joululahja, mitä toivoa voi – DD:n Suomen keikasta nimittäin!

Hello Duran fans!
I also want to share my feelings after hearing sbout the guys coming returning to our country after 40 years! On Sunday evening last week, together with Maiju we were wondering wether the concert in Finland will be announced in the beginning of the week and then the news reached us the very next day! 🤩 I had anticipated it long they will play in Finland soon. When the Finnish press interviewed John earlier this year at least then I was quite sure the concert date would be soon announced. DD is hardly once been interviewed by Finnish press during the recent decades.
Although I have seen the band live earlier in UK for once, it is of course a childhood dream come true if the concert will be real. A nice try happened for ten years ago but the gig was cancelled back then. Now a better luck would be appreciated and we really hope the concert to be true despite the pandemic times we are unfortunately still experimenting. It is 40 years since the previous visit and I will be 35 next month so for me DD haven’t actually visited our country yet at all 😀
My best expectation for the concert is that it will be held but the second best wish I wanna say aloud is that it woul be nice to hear Union of the Snake live when it comes to their old hits, from the new album I would like to hear Falling for instance ❤️
