Päästiin kesäkuun alkuun. Tyyppi, jolle kirjoittelin kertoi syntymäpäivänsä olevan ihan kohta. Hänen sanoin totesin: Vai niin. Tiesin kyllä, että Duran Duranin kosketinsoittajan Nickin ja basistin Johnin syntymäpäivät ovat kesäkuussa, siis kesäkuussa. Nickille lähetin kuvan oranssista unikosta, kuva oli otettu sateen jälkeen. Koskapa tyyppi ei minulle päin hirveästi kertonut mitään, lähetin kesäkuun 8. päivä synttärionnittelut viestinä! Johnin syntymäpäivänä kävin kävelyllä ja keräsin luonnonkukkia maljakkoon. Siitä lähti idea laittaa pöytä nätiksi. Keitin kahvit ja katoin nätisti. John täytti pyöreät 60-vuotta. Mikäs sopivampaa siis kun kahvikuppi, jonka olin saanut omina pyöreinä vuosina.
Laitoin sille tyypille tämän kortin, hän kertoi, että menee kyllä perille. Minä kirjoitin siihen vain, että olen suomalainen ja en usko ennenkuin näen. Totesin vielä että lehmätkin lentää aiemmin… Jotenkin tyyppi vaikutti todella oudolta. Halusi hirveästi tietää elämästäni ja minä kerroin. Lähetin jopa videon itsestäni muokkaamassa perunapeltoa…
No video oli hänen mielestään mahtava. Koska väitti olevansa joku, hälyytys kellot soivat…No päätin katsoa, mitä tuleman pitää…mikä tää tyyppi on. Toisaalta, jos kyse ois ollu ns. nigerialaiskirjoittelusta, olisi alkanut rahan pyytely, yleenpalttinen rakkauden tunnustaminen ja erilaisten dokumenttien lähettely…Tyyppi siis on todella outo…Mikäli hän olisi se, joka väittää, ei pitäisi ehkä kiinnostaa pienessä mökissään minimituloilla kitkuttava nainen, jostain keskeltä ei oikeestaan mitään…

It was the beginning of the June. The guy I was writing with said his birthday is coming soon. I continued his way of answering saying just: OK. I did know that DD’s John’s and Nick’s birthdays are on June. I had done a birthday card for Nick with an orange poppy on it. The picture in the card was taken after the rain. Because the guy has not revealed his birthday to me I wished him happy birthday on Nick’s birthday on June 8. Then the guy replied: “Thank you my dear, my birthday was fine.” I just replied him back, again: OK…
On John’s birthday I took a walk and I picked up some natural flowers. Then I came up with an idea of decorating the table to honour John’s 60th Birthday. I even had the coffee cup in the table, the cup I had had as a present on my birthday. I sent to this guy the both birthday cards and he promised to forward the cards to John and Nick. I said that I do not believe before I know it is true. This guy seemed so strange to me. He wanted to know so much about my life and I told him. I even sent him a video of me doing some gardening work.
The guy claimed the video to be amazing. Because he claimed to be someone he cannot be I did not have good expectations about that guy… However, I decided to check what it is all about, who is this guy. I though that if this had been a total hoax he would be already asking money for me and declaring how much he loves me… Once again, the guy really was strange. if he had been the one he claims he wouldn’t be interested in me, a normal person living nowhere.
