Bowien tribuuttikeikka 8.1.2022

No, taas kävi linjat kuumina Päivin ja minun välillä. Lauantaina on jälleen kerran David Bowien muistelukonsertti. Ensimmäisen kerran se oli viime vuonna 2021. Silloin Duranit esittivät kappaleen Five Years. Tänä vuonna kyseinen tapahtuma on taas ja Duranit mukana. Mietittiin, mikäköhän kappale sieltä on tulossa. Villein veikkaus oli, että se voisi olla vaikka David Bowien Let’s Dance. Tultiin siihen tulokseen, että olisi hieno nähdä John pystybasson kanssa ja biisi sopisi hyvin Simonille laulettavaksi.

TOIVOISIMME TEILTÄ VEIKKAUKSIA ENNEN LAUANTAITA MIKÄ DAVID BOWIEN BIISI SE VOISI OLLA?

A tribute to David Bowie 8 Jan 2022 (the day David would have been 75!)

Well, as we are tended to we had again a quick chat with Päivi. This time we chatted about the David Bowie tribute concert which will take place on 8 Jan 2022. It is to celebrate his 75th birthday. In the last year’s concert, DD did perform Bowie’s song called Five Years. DD will perform also on Saturday’s concert. Me and Päivi were wondering which song will they play. Our wildest guess was that it could be Let’s Dance! We really though it would be cool to see John playing a vertical bass and Simon’s voice would fit to the song well.
