Eva Longoria showed how to wear a shirt dress to perfection as she stepped out in Beverly Hills on Tuesday.

The former Desperate Housewife, 40, was spotted as she left an upscale salon wearing the shirt dress buttoned down the front and tied around the waist with a matching cloth belt.

The thigh-skimming ensemble, which she paired with backless pale pink heels, flattered the petite brunette’s stunning figure perfectly.

The actress’s dress had rolled up sleeves fastened with a button tie and two zipper pockets on the chest.

Eva wore her freshly washed and dried hair in a bushy ponytail as she carried her pink cell phone and a plastic bottle containing the remains of an orange beverage.

She completed the look with a pair of Classic Victoria aviators in 18ct gold, designed by her close friend Victoria Beckham, and a simple gold bracelet on her right wrist.

It’s been a busy few weeks for the Texas-born star.

After attending the Cannes international Film Festival last month, she attended her foundation’s Global Gift Gala in Paris before flying to Mexico with her businessman boyfriend José Antonio Baston.

She returned to LA in time for the Producers Guild of America’s 7th annual ’Produced By’ conference held this past weekend on the Paramount Studios lot.

There, she reunited with her Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry for a panel discussion.

Eva is also filming Refugio with Mexican actor and Oscar nominee Demian Bichir.

The two are then slated to star together again in Low Rider, a film low-riding enthusiasts in Southern California’s Latino communities.
