Goodbye

The time has come. It is time to leave Belgium and all the lovely people I met during these 5 months here. I feel lucky that I could call Gent home. 
I loved almost every moment of my exchange period in Gent. Every week I learned something new. Something new about myself, about other people and life in general. The most amazing part was my room(dorm)mates from all around Europe and world. Without them I wouldn’t have had such an amazing time and I will always remember the moments we shared together.

My time in Belgium wasn’t just some normal trip, it was a real adventure. An adventure to know myself better, to travel and to love.
What I learned here is how small the world actually is. Despite different cultures and origins, we are all the same. We share the same feelings, values, beliefs. We laugh at the same things and enjoy the same things.
