I’m sitting in our backyard without doing anything. I have been extremely busy with work and then I got my best friend from home visiting me for the first time! x   Past weeks haven’t been the easiest – there has been big changes in my personal life as well at work. Change is good but most of the time it doesn’t happen easily. Family and friends help so much but ultimately it is you who has to fight it through. As I had to say goodbye to one of the most important person in my life I am grateful for having him around. Some people just leave an indelible impression on you and he did. We shared the same positive and outgoing attitude and I will keep that mindset even closer to my heart now because I have seen again how much it gives to yourself and people around you. When was the last time you gave a praise to yourself or to your close ones? It’s such a big difference between Finland and US -here you get and give compliments in every conversation but back home it is rare to hear those.

 I want to have an positive effect on people. I want to show how much you can get from being encouraging towards yourself and others. There are and will be bad days that’s just life but there is nothing you couldn’t do. So try it – be good and give good.
