Rope bridge & giant’s causeway
So sunday 21.2 I had booked my self earlier in this tour bus trip wich drevied us to the rope bridge and giant’s causeway. Bus came to pick up us at 6.30am from Molly Malones statue.
Here is few sight photos taken from the bus. I had a little hangover from the earlier night and the road to the rope bridge and giant’s causeway was wery twisting and pumpy so I sat as front as I could.
Luckily we made quickly stop in some village, I can’t remeber the name.
The rope bridge was built 350 years ago, of course it isn’t exactly the same rope bridge any more. The bridge links to the tiny isle of carrickarde ”rock of the casting”. It spans 20metres and it is 30metres above the sea below.
Imagine walking this bridge in hangover.
Giant’s causeway is area of about 40000 interlocking basalt columns, result of an ancient volcanic eruption.
Old legend tells that giant named Fionn mac Cumhaill made this huge bridge from Ireland to Scotland to meat his lover. Other bigger and stupider giant than Fionn was, also were in love this lady giant and thes two male giants had ever met. Lady giant liked Fionn more but was afraid that bigger giant would kill Fionn if she tould that to him. Somehow bigger giant had heard this so he bent his bres and ran to visit famel giant, attempt kill Fionn. She know that stupid giant was on his way, so she tricked that stupid giant bye drug sliping Fionn and dressed him as an baby and when the bigger giant came to visit her and asking abou Fionn she sayed that he was on hunting trip at the woods, but he would came back at any time and then the stupid giant saw the baby (which was Fionn) and stupid giant’s eyes were opened bye the size of that massive baby, so he asked ”is that Fionns baby” she said ”yes, it is” and the stupid giant started afraid that Fionn would hear about hes visiting trip and come to kill him, so he ran back to Ireland and destroyed the bridge.
