ethical wedding party
Last Saturday husband and I attended a celebration and the marriage of two very sweet people; Annabella and Jim. Event was held in Almar Restaurant in Dumbo, Brooklyn and the entire venue was sprinkled with hip beautiful people, great beats, delicious vegan food and classic cocktails.
I had trouble finding the right type of outfit since the dress code was ”cocktail attire” and I really didn’t want to wear just another little black dress. Although I saw some amazing ones that night worn by the guests at the party. I’m trying to slowly move away from too much black and therefore I wanted the dress to be either yellow or pink.
And pink is what I found. And I got an amazing deal. Originally $198+tax, marked down to $69, but when I got to the register the price came down to $35! Hello unexpected surprise sales! I actually thought I was buying a midi skirt (yeah, didn’t try it on), but when I got home I noticed it was a dress. Sleeveless. And sleeveless never stays up. So I’m going to try to make it into a skirt at some point. I also found a matching hair accessory to complete my dreamy ballerina look.
