Voyage, voyage pt. 1
Long time no blogging. Travelling, editing the photos, group assignments and writing job applications have filled all my free time pretty well.
What has changed? Well, at least that I’m going to write this blog in English instead of Finnish. I was asked to. Am I still suffering from a cultural shock? Well, a bit, of course. But it’s better. I’ve met a lot of amazing people here and I’ve been travelling a lot. I’m exploring Europe – I haven’t visited that many new places, rather old favourites.
I chose nine courses for this spring but all the courses here in EDHEC are quite similar to the intensive courses we have in Finland – or somewhat similar. We can have one week of one course and the next week of another course. Or we can have a week off. Or two weeks. Or two lectures in one week or lectures that last from 8am till 8pm, you never know because of the rescheduling. This has been the most difficult thing to get used to, but I’m getting there. And planning another voyage, voyage.
To save you from overwhelming picture attack, I will first post some pictures from our first trip of the semester to the lovely city that never sleeps and that smells like weed. You can spot some Finns and Germans here and there somewhere between the canals.

Restaurant Brix, Wolvenstraat 16, Amsterdam, Netherlands. Google Maps ratings are lying (3,9/5 stars). We had the freshest and the most delicious breakfast of our trip here. Plus the interior was super cute. And the staff was extremely friendly. I would say 6/5.
