Mindful Doodling

About a week ago, I talked about how I like to relax by doodling – or googling and doodling to be exact – and figured I might share another one of my doodling methods, which is mindless doodling.

Stage 1 (or actually 2 but I only started taking pictures at this point)

Basically, you just start by drawing random shapes on paper, and then play connect the dots. The difference being there is no puzzle to solve, you just go with the flow and see what happens.

There is no chance for mistakes, because there are no mistakes. Everything leads to everything.

And I’m in danger of sounding like a self-help book, right? Just draw and forget everything else I said.

Stage 2

And if you’re feeling really adventurous you can even colour your doodles (with actual colours unlike me).

Stage 3 (Finished)

Beware, though. Once you start, it can be a bit addictive. I found myself doing one of these at work on a random piece of paper.

Stage 1

Varoitus: saattaa aiheuttaa riippuvuutta!
