Make It Work
Dress, Second hand/Leggings, Seppälä/Shoes,Clarks
While I was trying to sort out my fall/winter clothes, I found this turtleneck dress lurking in my closet, under a pile of sweaters.
I had some recollection of buying it on one of my many flea market rampages. However, I had no recollection of, actually, wearing it, which made me a bit wary, as it usually means there’s something wrong with the garment.
And lo and behold, the fit of the dress is a tad tight – to say the least – and it’s itchy as hell, which shouldn’t be that surprising, since it’s made of wool.
Since I refuse to be defeated by a dress, I had to do something – to quote Tim Gunn – to make it work.
First step, cover yourself up with a large scarf.
Scarf, Seppälä
Kind of works, but sadly it doesn’t cover my back.
Next step, a denim shirt and a necklace. My go-to solution for most wardrobe problems.

Problem solved…Except for the itchiness thing, which is a pain in the ass…or an itch in the ass, if you will.
And what better way to end a post than a bad pun.
