I’m beginning to think Shakespeare had it right with the whole ”Get thee to a nunnery.” thing. Just imagine how easy life would be.

Okay, confession time: I’m one of those strange people that still like to send out Christmas cards in the 21st century. In truth, I’m one one of those crazy people that actually like to make their own Christmas cards.
I mean, I don’t go all glitter crazy with stickers and decorations…Although last year’s cards did involve some glittery stars and reindeers. Apparently, it’s a slippery slope.
This year I decided to go a bit more minimalistic and just stick to drawing, but for that I needed some inspiration.
So what did I do?
I googled it.
And then doodled it.
The drawings I used as inspiration were a bit more detailed and complicated than mine. But as I’d rather avoid having to make a thousand trial versions before getting one card ready, I decided to simplify things.
And now I have three options. Or I could just use all of them.
I think I like this last one the best, since it’s the easiest and fastest to draw.
