I just realised something monumental.

I may be using exaggeration for effect here. A little hyperbole never hurt anyone.

Anyway, back to the monumental realisation…I’ve only bought two pairs of earrings and a couple of bracelets this year – a considerable drop in my regular shopping patterns. Not that I have a chart or anything.

Point being that I love accessories. Especially, bracelets and earrings…and necklaces and…

What the hell is wrong with me?!

So to rectify the situation I bought these…

I found the earrings from H&M and decided I could use some showstoppers.

Well, they’re showstoppers by my current standards. The old me, who still has huge pink earrings hiding in the jewellery box, would beg to differ…loudly.

But I figured, they’d go well with my go-to necklace of the moment, which is, basically, just my mother’s gold chain combined with my grandmother’s wedding ring.

Something new and something old.

Simple and perfect.

Again, what the hell is wrong with me?!
