Just to preface the following…I hate being a whiny bitch, even though I’m so very good at it.

Ever had one of those days, when you just know that the day is going to suck no matter what you do? It’s just a gut feeling you have in the morning, when you wake up, that proves to be pretty accurate by the end of the day.

Nothing truly horrible happens. No puppies or kittens get killed. It just seems that all the little crappy things accumulate on you like clouds and nothing goes the way it should. You just want to punch the universe – or anyone really – for being a dick…when, in fact, it’s probably you that is the dick.

No amount of positive thinking will make you feel better about the day. No smiles and compliments will brighten it. Everybody and everything sucks. You’re basically a teenager giving the finger to the world, and you know it, which makes the day that much worse.

So yes, I had a less than ideal day.

But tomorrow, as Scarlett O’Hara put it, is another day.
