Summer Afternoon

Summer afternoon, summer afternoon; to me those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English language.

This is one of those bags I only use in the summer. It just has that feeling of a warm summer day, with me lounging on a terrace sipping ice tea…wine in a straw hat and denim shorts.

It’s also one of my numerous second-hand finds…cost two euros.

A monumental monetary investment.

Now only, if summer would hurry up and get here, that would be nice.

You Can’t Recycle Wasted Time

I don’t like to bitch and moan.

Wellllll…Okay, I do. Occasionally. Sometimes. Now and again.

But, whoever decided daylight saving time was a good idea needed a slap in the face.

And whoever it is that decides, it still continues to be a good idea to turn clocks twice a year can get a slap from me.

Just in case it wasn’t clear from my mini rant, I’m still trying to reset my internal clock to summer time…Not quite as easy as turning the actual clocks.

Ugh.

Seriously, what is the point of the whole exercise? Can’t we just stick to one time and be done with it?

I know. I know.
