To Be Irreplaceable One Most Always Be Different
Confession time.
I love going to the flea market to spot quirky old handbags, especially tiny purses. It gives me a thrill when ever I find a pretty little purse hiding amongst all that clutter. I feel like Indiana Jones searching for the hidden treasure.
Once upon a time, I also had a bad habit of rescuing all these little bags and taking them to a better place, i.e. my closet. After a couple of moves, I finally learned that enough is enough and decided to cut down on my habit (it’s a constant battle).
Also, during my latest move, I did the unthinkable and gave most of my second hand bags to a local charity shop. Hopefully, they’ve found another home by now. Still, I don’t have a heart made of stone, so I couldn’t bring myself to abandon all of my darlings – even though they are impractical as heck. I can, barely, fit my phone and keys into most of them – let alone my wallet. But they are so very pretty.
Since I rarely use them nowadays, I figured I’d share some of my handbags with you here. At least, that way they’re not completely hidden away in my closet.
In this first part, I’ll show you my first ever second-hand bag: a small black leather purse (Original Bagant Finland).
I have no idea how old the purse is, but I‘d say more than a couple of decades have passed since it was manufactured.
I found it in a small flea market years ago and it’s the one that started my whole obsession. It was in a pretty good condition and cost about two euros, so I’d say a bargain.
So does anyone else have a problem with second-hand bags or is it just me?
