Tämä on Benji. Viime talvena paikallinen eläinsuojelija Edi näki autostaan koiran, joka yritti päästä ojasta ylös. Se ei pystynyt käyttämään takajalkojaan. Benji oli jäänyt auton alle kaksi kuukautta aikaisemmin. Lääkärissä selvisi, että Benjillä olisi mahdollisuudet selvitä. Suomessa Benji olisi mahdollisesti saanut matkan koirien taivaaseen, mutta Romaniassa eläinsuojelijoiden elämän kunnioitus tekee heille mahdottomaksi luopua, ennenkuin kaikki toivo on menetetty. Vitamiinien ja hoitojen ansiosta Benji pystyy jo kävelemään pieniä matkoja ja onkin yksi iloisimmista koirista, joita olen tavannut. Ostamalla tämän mekon tuet Benjin hoitokuluja!

This is Benji. Last march local activist Edi found Benji from the tench. Two months earlier he was hit by a car and could’nt use his bag legs at all. In the vet they found out he is going to have a hope after all. In Finland they would have probably put him in to sleep but in Romania activists’ honour of life is against euthanacia. Because of vitamines and treatments he’s again capable of walking. Benji is one of the happiest dogs I’ve met! By buying this dress you will support Benji!

Tämä on Toto. Paikallinen eläinsuojelija kävi ruokkimassa sitä aina matkallaan töihin, kunnes päätti ottaa sen tarhalleen. Totolla on ikää noin 6 vuotta. Se on kiltti, nälkäinen ja hellyydenkipeä. Ehkä sillä joskus oli oma koti? Yöt ovat jo kylmiä ja Toto on vilustunut. Kumpa hän löytäisi pian oman perheensä ja pääsisi lämpimään nukkumaan (niinkuin kuvassa laiskottelevalle Katjalle kävi). This is Toto. Local activist was feedin him on her way to the work till she had a space for him in the shelter. Toto is about 6 years old, kind, hungry and in the need of tenderness. Maybe Toto also used to had a home? Nights are getting colder and Toto is having a flu.  If only he could find a new loving family and a warm place to sleep (like happened to Katja who’s in the picture).
