Muita nurkkia / Other corners

 

Välillä omien kotinurkkien tiirailu kameran linssin läpi tuntuu niin tylsältä – samoista vanhoista, tällä hetkellä vielä pimeistä nurkista on vaikea innostua. Silloin ei parane kuin kääntää katse muualle. Vaikka näihin kuviin. Olen siis joskus asunut paikassa jossa on jopa valoa! Ja väriä! Värithän eivät oikein tule esiin jos ei ole valoa.

Kuvat ovat asunnosta, jossa asuin puoli vuotta viettäessäni vaihtovuotta Sisiliassa. Saadapa nuo marmorilattiat. Tai tuon valon juuri nyt. Vaihtelu (toivottavasti) virkistää, huomenna jaksaa taas fiilistellä kynttilänvaloa ja hämyä.

Sometimes it is just so dull to peek at your own home through the lense – the same old corners and lightless rooms. Then you just have to look at something else. These pictures for example. And remember that yes, I have lived somewhere where is light! And  color! You kind of need the light to get those colors pop.

These pictures are from the apartment that I lived for six months as an exhange student in Sicily. To get those marble floors or that light right now.. Maybe tomorrow it’s time to get inspired from candlelight and dark tones again.
