Korean cosmetics in London

There’s a little shop in Chinatown in central London selling Korean and Japanese skincare and makeup. They have a website but not all products are listed there. Also, no products in the shop have prices on them. I was told the reason for this is that their stock sells so fast. Another reason may be that their prices are very high compared to any other stockist for these products.

You can talk to the helpful sales assistant to get over the initial confusion. She spoke perfect English, unlike a lot of staff in Chinatown. I picked up two sheet masks for acne-prone skin with her help.

AC Clean Up sheet mask by Etude House is £2.50 and contains hyalyronic acid, teatree exctract, tea tree oil, salisylic acid, centella extract (popular healing ingredient in Korean skincare), panthenol, cypress extract, and many other things. The sheet is made of bamboo and is soaked in 27 ml of essence. The mask was nice enough but I wouldn’t pay £2.50 for it again.

Teatree Healing Solution Essential Mask by Mediheal is £4 and contains centella extract, pine extract, witch hazel extract, sage extract, a little bit of hyalyronic acid and a tiny bit of tea tree oil among other ingredients. There is 25 ml of essence. I haven’t used the mask yet but I have high expectations because it’s so expensive.

Shop details: P2bus Ltd, 21 Newport Court, London, WC2H 7JS

I paid for the products myself. This post is not sponsored.
