Day 7 – Muay Thai

Boxing is a tool in your arsenal, it is not simply violence. Since beginning practicing Muay Thai I feel I am a more confident and peaceful person. Feeling capable of self-defense and knowing you have finely honed a skill really does offer many positive rewards. Here is a video of me giving a heinous beat down to a heavy bag.

Day 6 – Alternative Protein Source, Beef Gelatin

Being a self-professed gym bunny I have, through the years, dabbled with different forms of weight lifting supplements. For example – Creatine, Whey Protein, Energy Bars, etc … My Conclusion is, although some Of these serve their own purpose, you can not trust anything more than the flesh of other creatures less fortunate. Beef gelatin is produced from the resulting collagen from animal byproducts (whatever that means). All you gotta know is it’s cheap, heavy in protein, has zero carbs (unlike whey protein), and is really low is calories. Also collagen is good for your skin. I drink mine with a bit of turmeric (kurkuma), Which has plenty of benefits as well.
