Topmanin urbaanit cowboyt
Lontoossa on tällä viikolla esitelty miesten muotia kesälle 2014. Topmanin ensi kesän mallisto on selvästi hakenut vaikutteensa samoilta lähteiltä, kuin Isabel Marantin taannoinen cowboy-kokoelma.
Ei ole lainkaan outoa, että ketjuliike kopio huippumuotitalojen kokoelmia. Virkistävää on kuitenkin huomata, miten kerrankin naisten kokoelmista tutut elementit näkyvät tällä tavoin myös miesten mallistojen puolella. Ehkä tässä ollaan taas rajojen rikkomisen äärellä?!
Eli miehet, pitäkäähän ensi kesänä silmällä kukkakuvioisia länkkäripaitoja. Kannattaa muistaa myös leveä lahkeiset housut, sillä niitä on näytöslavoilla vilahdellut enemmänkin.

Topman’s Urban Cowboys
Topman presented their summer 2014 collection in London earlier this week. It seems that this collection used pretty much the same book of inspiration, as did Isabel Marant’s women’s collection just few seasons ago.
There’s nothing new in high street copying the high end houses, but I guess it’s refreshing to notice that menswear too can be inspired by women’s collections.
So what should men keep their eyes on, come the summer 2014? Well, flowery cowboy shirts and wide legged pants for starters.
