Marimekko FW2015 (the first photos from Japan presentation)

These images are from Marimekko’s fall 2015 presentation held in Tokyo yesterday. What makes this collection special is that this is the first collection under the influence of Anna Teurnell. Although I’m sure the following seasons will show even more of Anna’s vision it was already such a refreshing change in the overall look and feel. The limited amount of prints and the styling felt just right, a modern take still strongly attached to it’s roots and not too fashion forward. I can’t wait to try on the coats or the wilder monochrome pants & dress outfit.
