A skirt worth every mention

What better way to celebrate the 98th anniversary of Finland than with an example of contemporary Finnish excellence. 

This skirt from Lepokorpi’s SS 2016 collection makes me somewhat sentimental, as do many of her designs. The way the materials used in the signature pieces are worked on and built makeks me think of my grandparents and our heritage. It’s something special and also very Finnish to me.
