Another superb weekend finding beautiful second hand pieces and a new pair of socks for summer. The trousers above are from Dries van Notens spring summer 2012 collection, I hadn’t been able to find my size until now (at Kaivarin Kanuuna). So happy! On Saturday I visited Fashion Taivas, a happening organized by a bunch of stylish ladies and found a beautiful oxbloodish full-sequin midi skirt. The happy socks below are from Monki.
A new Finnish label to watch – ONAR. And here’s where it gets interesting, it’s a new label focusing on fur.
”The ONAR collections utilize already existing materials. Nothing is farmed. The furs and leathers are hand-picked from a variety of Finnish wild game pelts, industry surplus and European lamb skins that are byproducts of food industry.”
The one-of-a-kind coat above is from a ONAR’s capsule 2014 collection designed by Sophie Sälekari. I could very easily adopt this one right away…
