I get always in such a good mood when I see these packages lying on my table in the morning. I know it’s kinda childhish but it really makes me smile – haista vittu, fuck you. Like ”Good morning – oh, and by the way, FUCK YOU.”

I’d been craving for these mugs since May when I visited Illums Bolighus in Copenhagen with my mom and sis. In case you don’t know Illums Bolighus is a huge department store full of cool Scandinavian design stuff. Like wooden animal figures, expensive kitchenware and amazing clothing.

Couple of days after Illums Bolighus we went to the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art and once again I saw these Arne Jacobsen’s mugs! I decided I had to get at least one mug with my initial.

But of course I didn’t buy them immediately, since I’m such a jerk who always thinks for months and months ”if this is a right choice”. They are MUGS. Not a dog or a baby, which you should really consider having carefully.

In December I couldn’t take it anymore. I went to Stockmann and bought four mugs – two as a Christmas present for my family, two as a Christmas present for my self.

The design is so beautiful it makes me smile every time I hold this cup in my hands. And for that you know it must be a really good design.
