Finland wishes!
A bit over a week and we are finally on our way to FINLAND! Oh my…I can’t remember when I’ve been waiting anything as much as I’m waiting this vacation now. I’ve been suffering from really bad and strong home sickness for around two weeks. Sometimes I feel ok and I can forget it, but sometimes it gets really bad and I’m starting to cry. I think I’ve missed home the last time this much when I was a little girl and away from home for a week or two on a skaiting camp. I feel like a little girl again…and I definitely don’t enjoy this. Anyway soon I get to see my family again! It’s going to be so much fun!
I have few things that I expect from our ”holiday” in Finland. First and the most important one is that I want to spend a looooot time with my family and friends. We arrive to Finland on Wednesday afternoon and we’ll be at my parents place around dinner time. There should be the whole family waiting, because we are having a Christmas dinner together. We have a tradition to eat Christmas dinner together with my mom’s side of family on the 24th. This year we changed it to the 25th because we are spending the 24th in A’s parents. We are going to be at least 16 in my parents place on the 25th. I loooove our big family! I will put my phone away and just enjoy and give all my attention for them, and also enjoy all that lovely Christmas food.
The second wish is that there would be at least a little bit snow. I’ve seen my friends photos and right now there is snow, so I really hope it doesn’t melt away before. I haven’t seen a real snow this winter at all and just now I’ve really realized how cool thing it is. I would also really like to go have a nice walk on a forrest. My family lives in a countryside, so it’s very easy to go for a walk to a real nature. I miss snowy and quiet winter forrest! Finland is so beautiful place to live…I’m almost a bit jeallous for everyone who lives in that beautiful country.
Third thing I really want to do is to cuddle with our doggies. Everyone who has pets, knows that they become a family members, so I miss them as much as I miss my human family. So a lot kisses and hugs with them coming! It’s actually pretty funny to see how they react for seeing me after a long time. I hope they are as happy as I am.
Now I’m starting to clean our home. Because of the busy last week I haven’t have time to do anything in here, so now is the time. Finally.
