”She came and stood right by me / Then the smell of Sweet Perfume”

Tuoksu-friikki mussa iski jälleen. Tein pienen tilauksen Nettioultlettiin tuossa jokinaika sitten ja nyt saan taas tuoksutella uusia ihanuuksia. Tai no mulle uusia, nää parfyymit on jo monille tuttuja ja aikansa markkinoilla olleita. Mä oon aika hitaasti syttynyt noille Marc Jacobsin tuoksuille (Oon aina myöhässä, niin tuoksujen kuin trendienkin suhteen), mutta sitten kun sen Daisy Eau so Freshin ostin, niin se on ollutkin menoa. Rakastuin päätäpahkaa tuoksuun, ja nyt siitä isosta botlesta on enää vajaa puolet jäljellä (tässä vaiheessa lähetän nöyrimmät anteeksipyynnöt mun duunikavereille jotka joutuu sitä tuoksua hyvin usein haistelemaan…).

Little perfume freak in me jus lifted it’s head. Yeah, I made an order to Nettioutlet some time ago. And now I can smell all those brand new beauties. Well new for me, these perfumes have been around for a while allready, and propably they are familiar to you. But I’m late in the perfumes as I’m late in trends too. I mean, I wasn’t into those Marc Jacobs perfumes when they first came out. But after I bought Daisy Eau so Fresh, I fell in love. Now there is only less than half left in that big bottle (at this point I’ll send my loving apologies to all my colleagues, who are forced to smell this perfume so often…).

Mä en vielä oo ehtinyt noita yhtäkään kunnolla testaamaan. Eli mietin tässä juuri että voisin heittää nyt vaan sellaisen pika katsauksen jokaiseen tuoksuun. Siis lähinnä sen mitä sisältävät. Eli tokihan jokainen voi vaikka Fragranticasta käydä nuo tsekkaamassa. Mutta helpompi varmaan laittaa ne tänne ettei joudu sitten hyppimään eri sivuilla 🙂 Enemmän omaa mielipidettä tulee sitämukaan kun noita alan sitten kunnolla käyttämään.

Mähän yleensäkin valkkaan tuoksu pitkälti sen mukaan mitä aineosia se sisältää. Joskus menee niin päin mäntyä kun vaan voi, ja joskus taas tulee nappiostoksia. Tietysti silloin kun niitä pääsee ihan livenä tuoksuttelemaan, niin mennään tuoksun mukaan. Mutta mä jostain syystä en hirveesti nauti jossain parfyymiosastolla pyörimisestä. Siinä tulee ihan liikaa kerralla, ja hyvin usein käy niin etten loppujenlopuks mitään ostakkaan.

I havent tested any of these yet, so I thought I’ll just give you a small review about these fragrances. Just what are the notes and so on. Sure you can find them in Fragrantica too, but I think it’s easier if I’ll put the info here so you don’t have to jump from page to page 🙂 I’ll give my oppinion about these perfumes later, as I get these cute guys in action.

Usually I’ll pick the perfume according the notes it includes. Sometimes I miss it like I’ve never miss before, and sometimes it’s just perfect pick. Ofcourse, if I’m face to face with perfumes, I’ll go with the scent. But to be honest, I really don’t like that much hang around the perfume shops etc. It is just too much scents at the same time and often it ends with me shopping nothin :D

Ekana otetaan vaikka tää Jimmy Choon vuonna 2013 lanseeraama Flash, valkoisia kukkia sisältävä tuoksu. Mä otin tän aika pitkälti siks, että mulla on se Jimmy Choon Jimmy Choo for Woman, makean hedelmäinen (kuvauksen mukaan, en itse tätä allekirjoita…) parfyymi. Se on jotenkin koukuttavan outo tuoksu josta en totisesti kykene erottamaan niitä yksittäisiä tuoksuja, joita siinä pitäisi olla. Se on mulle yks suuri mysteeri pullo josta kuitenkin jonkun ihmeen takia pidän. No tää Flash taasen on on sitten kukkainen tuoksu ripauksella mausteita ja hedelmiä. Ensituoksuna on mansikka, mandariini ja roseepippuri. Sydäntuoksuna hilluu valkoisia kukkia kuten tuberosa, jasmiini ja valkoinen lilja. Pohjatuoksuna on heliotrooppi ja vaalea puu.

Jännityksellä jään odottamaan onko tääkin mysteeri tuoksu :D

Let’s take first this Jimmy Choos Flash. It was launced in 2013 and it is white floral perfume. I took this just because I’ve got that Jimmy Choos Jimmy Choo for Woman, which is sweet fruity (I’m not underwriting that…) perfume. I consider it somehow addictive weird perfume, where I just can’t separete any aromas that are supposed to be in there. It’s a huge mystery bottle to me. But for some strange reason I love it. This Flash perfume is flowery perfume with hint of spices and fruits. Top notes are strawberry, tangerine and pink pepper. Heart note is white flowers like touberosa, jasmine and white lily. Base notes are heliotrope and white wood.

I’m a bit exited with this one, will it be a mystery bottle too :D

Näitä kavereita ei varmaan tarvii hirveesti perustella… Tai se perustelu tuli jo tuossa alussa. Eli siks kun Daisy Eau so Fresh on niin ihana niin varmaan myös nääkin on :D No joo, tuolla ajattelulla niitä huteja just tulee. Mutta näistä otin pienimmät 30ml pullot, joten ihan hirveesti ei sitten harmita jos onkin menty metsään.

Marc Jacobs Dot: 2012 lanseerattu kukkais-hedelmäinen tuoksu jota ympäröi vaniljan ja kookoksen sävyt. Ensituoksuna on punaiset marjat ja pitaya. Sydäntuoksuna kuusama, jasmiini ja appelsiinin kukka. Pohjalla on kookosvesi, vanilja, ajopuu ja myski.

Marc Jacobs Honey: Valkoinen kukkaistuoksu joka lanseerattiin 2013. Ensituoksuna on päärynä, mandariini, appelsiini ja punssi, sydäntuoksuina kuusama, appelsiinin kukka ja persikka. Ja pohjalla taasen hunaja, vanilja ja puiset tuoksut.

I think there is no need to justify these guys… Or actually the explanation came earlier in this post. Just beacaus Daisy Eau so Fresh was sooo lovely, so must be these too. This is how you make those miss judgements with perfumes… but who cares. Though I did took the smallest bottles 30ml, so I’m no so pissed off if I did go awfully wrong :D

Marc Jacobs Dot: Launched in 2012, flowery-fruity perfume with hint of vanilla and coconut. Top notes are red berries and pittaya. Heart notes are honeysuckle, jasmine and orange blossom. And in the base there is coconut water, vanilla, driftwod and musk.

Marc Jacobs Honey: This white flowery fragrance was launched in 2013. Top notes are pear, mandarin, orange and punch. Middle notes are honeysuckle, orange blossom and peach, and in the base there is honey, vanilla and woodsy notes.

Viimeisenä mutta toivottavasti ei vähäisimpänä on Alexander McQueen / My Queen Light Mist. Tähän mulla ei ole selitystä tuoksuhistoriasta. En oo varmaan koskaan aiemmin tuoksutellut (ainakaan tietoisesti) Alexander McQueenin tuoksuja, mutta koska hän oli omalla tavallaa nero muodin saralla, niin testiin lähti. Ja toki se että tuoksu on puuterinen, puinen, se ei oo koskaan pahaksi. 2007 lanseerattu romanttinen ja iloinen tuoksu jonka ensituoksuna on vaaleanpunainen greippi, ja punainen viinimarja. Sydäntuoksuna on ruusu ja orvokki, pohjalla taas lämmin santelipuu, patchouli, ambra, valkoinen myski ja teen lehdet.

Mä odotan melkoisesti tältä tuoksulta, sillä noi pohja tuoksut on kovin mun mieleen. Mutta nähtäväksi jää miten tää iskee :)

Last but hopefully not least there is Alexander McQueens / My Queen Light Mist. There is no explanation in my fragrance history for this. I’ve never smelled (at least not intentionally) any Alexander McQueens fragrances. But since he was kinda genius in his own way in fashion, let’s see. And the fact that this is powdery and woody scent, it’s just a bonus. This fragrance was launched in 2007, and it’s said to be romantic and cheerfull. Top notes are pink grapefruit and redcurrant. Heart notes are rose and violet. And in the base there are warm sandalwood, patchouli, amber, white musk and tea leaves.

I expect a lot from this since the base notes are in my taste. But we shall see about that :)
