I didn’t use any wire, only stuffing, since it was for a very young lady.

 

The hair:

R1-11 follow original instructions

R12-17 sc66 

turn at end of row, ch1 at beginning of row

Bangs

sl st on first st, 24 sc (fasten off, leave long yarn to sew on head)

Curls

join yarn on next st of finished bangs

Curl 1: ch 26, 2nd ch from hook (inc,sc) repeat till end, from head hair skip one and sl st on next of end

Curl 2: ch 36, 2nd ch from hook (inc, sc) repeat till end, from head hair skip one and sl st on next

Repeat curls all around

 

* longer ch make longer curls

* inc in every ch makes tighter curls
