Free prom dress giveaway in Ankeny

Purchasing a prom dress can be expensive.image:Balklanningar 2016Project Fresh Start, sponsored by the Ankeny Community Education Department, is hoping to make it easier for local juniors and seniors. Free dresses will be distributed Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Prairie Ridge Church, 825 N.W. 36th St., Ankeny. Students names are not recorded, only school names. Participating schools include: Ankeny High School, Ankeny Centennial High School, Ankeny Christian Academy, Ballard, Bondurant, Madrid, North Polk, Saydel, Southeast Polk and Woodward-Granger. There are few in fashion who genuinely live up to the label polymath but Nicola Formichetti is undoubtedly one.
