Kun maailma ympärillä tuntuu kietoutuvan harmauteen, täytyy ihmisen sädehtiä itse. Tavalla tai toisella.

Ja lopulta vääjäämättömästi elämä alkaa taas hehkua väreissä.

When you’re feeling grey…

…you need a little sparkle in your life.

Ever have those days, when you feel like the world around you consists of different shades of grey, veering into black? No? Lucky you.

I generally try to maintain a positive attitude, see the colours in the world and keep on plowing ahead. However, now and again, the greyness surrounding me comes into full focus leaving me feeling a bit…I don’t know…empty…or more like deflated. Like a balloon that has just been popped.

These shoes are for those days. Days when I silently curse my mundane existence and hide myself under a pile of black clothes. At least, I’ll leave a little sparkle wherever I go, even though I don’t feel like sparkling myself.

And eventually – slowly but surely – I start to shimmer, until the sparkle is back again.
