SUOMESSA

Jes jes, Suomessa taas. Ihan ekaks oli tietysti saatava Olde syliin. Ku tulin aikoinani Itävallasta niin dogi meni sekasin päiviks. En tiedä onko Olde löytäny saman zenin, jonka mä löysin tän vuoden aikana vai mitä on tapahtunu, mut Olde otti jälleennäkemisen aika smoothisti. Ei ehkä ihan Whisun lost lake trail, mutta not that bad.

BACK IN VAN WHERE IT ALL STARTED

Greetings from beautiful Vancouver! Pretty much one year ago I arrived in Vancouver and started my adventure here in Canada. It’s been an amazing year – one of the best ones of my life so far! I had some goals and plans for myself before coming here. Some I’ve achieved some I’ve failed. Ok, I never went to Gibsons, nor to the gym, never did bungee or ride as much as backcountry as I wanted. Didn’t go and visit my friends in Penticton either (sorry Sara!). However I went to a great road trip to Frisco which was blast, did mindblowing hike to Wedgemount Lake, learned skiing again, had the best summer of my life with my dear roomie and met amazing people who will get invitation to my wedding, haha! I have this thing that I will invite only the best and dearest people I’ve met during my journeys to my wedding once that day comes.

It really has been a mindblowing year in every kind of way. I might have made it to sound easy, but god knows it hasn’t been that easy. It was a big decision to leave eveything behind and just jump to something complitely opposite I was living back in Finland / Austria. And especially to do something complitely different what I was planning to do with my life at that point. I thought I’d live happy life with my boyfriend and have a nice apartment in a nice living area. I also thought I’d pursue a career and work for couple of years before having kids. Well, it was a great plan. But it wasn’t the right one, not for me.

I’m also coming back to complitely nothing and will start arranging my life from the scratch again, but let me tell you it has been worth it! The only thing I can say to you, is that if you ever think of taking risks in your life – do it, cause most of the time it’s worth it. Everything happens in a right time and for a reason. ”Life begins in the end of your comfort zone”
