LIMOUSINE RIDE, SNOW AND YOGA

When we were in Vancouver, we went to see Giants game on one evening. The evening was actually quite funny, cause we ended up going to some kids training game at the beginning. We traveled like 1h outside the city just to see that we went to a wrong hockey game. However, we took taxis to the right game and got in for free cause we said we are group of Aussies, Finns and Kiwis, who traveled long way to see this particular game. (Brighid, me & Steph).

IMG_1277.JPGAfter the hockey game we couldn’t find any bus or taxi back to the downtown, so we ended up taking a limo back to downtown. That was so much fun – and only $5 for person, so even cheaper than taxi.

Yoga session with the roomies.

Sorry for the poor pic quality but here is still some photos from past days. My days have been quite busy since my training started on Monday. My job in Whistler Blackcomb is Snow School Sales Host, so basically I’ll be selling different ski lessons & camps to everyone who wants to learn riding. Training is quite overwhelming, there is sooo many products we sell, so there is much stuff to learn. All in all we have 12 snow school locations and there is like 35 in our team -Sales Hosts, Senior Sales Hosts and Supervisors. Luckily, we have very chill team and cool supervisors.

However, I have had time to chill as well and spend some time with my new buddies. On Monday we invited our Italianos for a dinner to our place, and cooked some Finnish cabbage soup for them (suppa!!). Yesterday we were at their place and enjoyed some pasta and watched Cooking with Gas (go Finland!).  Today we took it easy and just played cards with our Aussie neighbor Timmieeee. Slopes will open on Saturday and everybody is just waiting to get on their skis / boards. It’s been raining in the valley past days, which means snow on the top of the mountain.

Huh, onpa ollu viikko! Illat on menny sosiaalisissa ympyröissä. YOLOsta on tullu suurin läppä!
