every monday should start like this – arkiaamiainen the cockissa

In my opinion, jokaisen maanantain tulisi alkaa aamiaisella keskustassa, parhaimmassa seurassa.

Kävimme jo pari viikkoa sitten ystäväni Veeran kanssa aloittamassa aamumme The Cockin ihanalla arkiaamiaisella. Veera ei ollut aikaisemmin käynyt ravintolassa, ja halusi ehdottomasti päästä testaamaan The Cockin kauniit smoothie bowlit. Minä puolestani maistoin The Cockin smoothie bowlia jo viime kesänä, kun ravintola otti herkun listoilleen, ja hurahdin niihin siltä istumalta. Nykyään teenkin smoothie bowleja itselleni ja poikaystävälleni viikoittain – kuten Intagramista näkyy.

Kirjoitin The Cockin aamiaisesta Visit Helsingin blogiin, jossa kerroin viime viikolla Helsingin kivoista vegaanimestoista. The Cock tarjoaa mainion valikoiman vegaanisia aamiaisvaihtoehtoja: aloitin aamuni avokadoleivällä, joka on aina Cockissa käydessä ihan must, sekä vihreällä smoothie bowlilla ja kookosmaitoon tehdyllä matcha lattella.

Ei käy kieltäminen: The Cock on yksi Helsingin suloisimmista aamiaismestoista. Rento ilmapiiri, tyylikäs sisustus ja hyvä ruoka houkuttelevat minut tänne yhä uudelleen. Bloggaajat arvostavat myös kauniita, marmorisia pöytä – so instagrammable!

In my opinion, every Monday should start with a breakfast in the city with your best friend.

Couple of weeks ago me and my friend Veera started our morning at The Cock’s wonderful breakfast. Since Veera hadn’t been there earlier, she wanted to taste The Cock’s gorgeous smoothie bowls. I’d already had a taste of these healthy treats last summer when the restaurant started serving smoothie bowls for the first time and fell in love with them immediately. And nowadays smoothie bowls are all I do for me and my boyfriend on weekends – just check out my Instagram.

I wrote about The Cock’s breakfast on Visit Helsinki’s blog, where I last week told about three nice vegan eateries around Helsinki. The Cock offers a nice selection of vegan breakfast treats: I ordered an avocado toast, which is always a must, green smoothie bowl and matcha latte made with coconut milk.

The Cock is definitely one of Helsinki’s cutest breakkie places. Relaxed atmosphere, chic interior and great food make me come here again and again. And I gotta say: as bloggers, we appreciate especially the pretty marble tables. So instagrammable!
