THE HORTON GRAND- SAN DIEGO

Meillä on käynyt kyllä todella hyvä tuuri majoituksien suhteen. Olemme tällä hetkellä San Diegon keskustassa The Horton Grand-nimisessä hotellissa. Lähdimme aamulla jalkaisin liikkeelle koska tässä lähistöllä tuntui olevan vaikka mitä. Hotellissa on aivan ihana sisäpiha, johon valo tulvi kauniisti sisään. 

Ainiin, ja huoneessamme on takka! Tämä on tällainen vanhan ajan kunnon romanttinen hotelli, johon olisi ihana tulla poikaystävän kanssa. Henkilökunta on ollut myös todella ystävällistä. Tällä hetkellä huilimme hetken hotellilla, koska tuntuu että koko reissun ajan on tullut säntäiltyä eri paikkoihin. 

Välillä on ihanaa, kun ei ole mitään aikataulua, nähtävyyslistaa tai suunnitelmia. Lähdemme tästä varmasti taas kävellen liikkeelle, koska lähistöltä löytyy kaikkea mahdollista. San Diego vaikuttaa kaiken kaikkiaan jotenkin aivan ihanalta. Juuri tänään pohdimme, että mistä kaupungin fiilis muodostuu? Minkä takia täällä on jotenkin rennompi ja kivempi tunnelma kuin Losissa? Miksi joihinkin kaupunkeihin rakastuu ihan ensisilmäyksellä?

At the moment we are staying in San Diego downtown, at The Horton Grand Hotel. This is a really nice hotel, and at a perfect place. We left the car here and decided to walk, cause everything is near. The hotel itself is so sweet, and we have a fireplace in our room! How cool is that. This would be a perfect room for a romantic getaway. 

The staff was really nice and helpful.We are now resting in our room, because it feels like we’ve been running around the whole trip. It is nice to be without any plans for a while and just wander around. So far we have really enjoyed San Diego. It feels so much more relaxed and easygoing than Los Angeles. Now we’re off to get some lunch. There was some nice looking restaurants on our street!
