Winter Tag 2017 – Boss Girl Bloggers Challenge

Happy Independence Day! I haven’t written in English for… hmmm, a couple of yers at least, though I’ve been thinking about writing my blog in english as well. So I apologize for all the errors in my writing (that’s a very Finnish thing… apologizing all the time constantly). I got this interesting WinterTag-Challenge from The Fashion Poetry blog’s lovely Elisabet. The idea of this challenge is to answer to 15 winter-related questions and then tag five of your blogger friends to answer to this challenge. Here are my mighty answers.

 

ONE: What is your favourite holiday tradition?

This is a tough one. I love that at Christmas time many of my favourite persons gather together. I also love watching holiday movies and having lazy time. And eating of course.

Two: What is your favourite go-to winter lippies?

Lippie, what a word. I love putting on some red lipstick. Now my favourite lipstick is avril’s Le Crayon Rouge ’A Levres in shade of Chataigne. Natural and beautiful colour, I recommend!

THREE: What is your favorite winter scent? (candles, perfume etc.)

I love the smell of snow, also the scent of a christmas tree. For a perfume I’ve been always a fan of Calvin Klein’s Euphoria. 

FOUR: What is your go to winter fashion trend?

Dunno, actually. I’d love to answer red sexy dresses, but I never wear them. So I have to answer: Sweatpants and a grey hoodie. 

FIVE: What is your all-time 
favourite holiday movie?

I use to love the Sound of Music, but haven’t watched it for ages. Love Actually is pure love, I love that one scene with that cute distant man with plaques. 

SIX: What is your all-time 
favourite holiday tune?

I love that Finnish Christmas carol ’En etsi valtaa loistoa’. I must admit I almost always become emotionally moved by its last stanza. And I’m not very religious person.

SEVEN: Do you prefer to travel 
or stay home for the holidays?

Definitelly staying home. I’ve never been abroad but I think that would be great also. Drinking some Caipirosca coctail at a beach and thinking about Finnish Christmas. 

EIGHT: What is your favourite winter 
skin care must have?

Lumene’s Bright Now Vitamin C Hyaluronic Essence.

NINE: What is your favourite 
winter hair care product?

Don’t really have one, and that is a reason my hair is dry and curly in that wrong way and always tied up. You can recommend some, I’d love that.

TEN: What is your favourite
 winter activity?

Skiing and skating. I love fast and furious winter activity. Also riding outside, haven’t done that for a while.

ELEVEN: What is your favourite must-have
 winter beauty product?

Water and avocados. 

TWELVE: Do you love or hate the snow?

Love it. As a child I was so worried about not having snow on the ground I carried it from the woods to the streets. As you have probably noticed, I was a very savvy child. 

THIRTEEN: What is one item on 
your wish list this year?

I’d love Familon’s Ergo Whole Body Pillow but I think that’s pretty expensive.

FOURTEEN: What is your favourite
 holiday treat?

Gravlax.

FIFTEEN: Do you finish your holiday shopping before December or are you a last minute shopper?

It depends. Sometimes I start purchasing gifts at fall if I found something but this year I’m a last minute shopper.
